Despite all the evidence......

Yesterday myself and another resident were on East Midlands Today to highlight our plight against Fernandez's illegal, non complaint, unregulated and polluting flue. Despite this broadcast and a letter from MP Jon Ashworth on behalf of residents and business in the shared courtyard to the LCC urging them to take the health-risks from the flue seriously and to expedite its removal, the flue is spewing out its filth again today. Noise Pollution served two abatement notices -- one for statutory noise nuisance breech and one for statutory odour nuisance breech. Unbelievably, they have given Fernandez five months to sort. However, Fernandez is set to appeal all notices which means that local residents and businesses will be inhaling these dangerous emissions until late 2017. This is unacceptable. We want Fernandez to close their doors until they put up a flue that meets all health and safety and environmental regulations as well as the approved planning application. We should not have to keep our doors and windows closed, not enjoy our outside spaces or let our children play outside whilst Fernandez continues to do business and pollute our courtyard. Fernandez has found it appropriate to post a link to their so called statement of truth on this petition. I urge you to read this because it is a joke. In light of everything that is in this update, they continue to say they have taken care of the problem. I would say the video broadcast on East Midlands Today, an enforcement notice from planning to remove the flue by the 19th of June and the two notices highlighted above, strongly renounce their absurd claims and speak for themselves. Also, if they think that their actions have constituted a willingness in working with residents and businesses they are deluded because they have done everything to contradict that position. Finally, they have taken to personally attacking me, always a sign of desperation because they have no valid arguement nor a leg to stand on. #pollution #moneyoverchildshealth
