I've noticed a glaring need for dedicated fenced off-lead dog parks in Regional Victoria. Small towns are filled with loving pet owners who don't have a suitable space for their four-legged friends to roam freely and safely. Without this crucial amenity, the exercise and socialization needs of dogs are not met effectively. 
According to the Australian Veterinary Association, dogs who are regularly exercised are healthier - both mentally and physically - than those who aren't. Regular contact with other dogs also aids in their social skills, reducing behavior-related issues. However, in the absence of an off-lead fenced dog park, achieving these beneficial encounters is hard.
Having off-lead fenced dog parks significantly enhances the quality of life for dogs in our community, translating to a happier, safer, and healthier environment for us all.
