A meeting recently was set up by Hon Russell Broadbent and Senator Lisa Singh both on the board of PGARD (Parliamentary Government Asbestos Related Diseases) to discuss Keytruda/fast track on to PBS and my petition. The Health Minister was very sympathetic and will listen to our cause. The pharmaceutical company Merck who manufacture Keytruda are working towards making an application to PBAC and the Health Minister. I am very happy with this first meeting and my aim is to have an appointment myself with the Health Minister to present this petition and also to put my case as to why Keytruda should be fast tracked for Mesothelioma and 29 other rare cancers that it is showing promise with!
