On the 19th of September, a team led by QC Julian Burnside defeated the government's final attempt to strike me out from the court. Finally the dates are set for an epic three day trial on the 1st-3rd of April 2020.
Medicare PSR Director, Federal Health Minister and Determination body of PSR are all now subjected to this trial. They will now need to answer the question.
If we win:
1)Healthcare workers will get full legal representation if and when they get interrogated by Medicare
2)Trainee Doctors will not be subjected to these interrogations
3)Process will be transparent to public /patients can know exactly what Doctors and care providers are getting restricted or interrogated on concerning their health care
4)Government will be made accountable for the powers they have been exercising over Health Care workers with no checks or balance until now.
