The #EndSARS campaign began on social media to protest the activities of the police unit which have been accused of extortion, harassment, robbery, intimidation and extra-judicial killings. There have also been public demonstrations for and against the continued existence of the dreaded anti-crime unit of the Nigeria Police Force.

They are suppose to be law enforcement agencies who should guide life and property of the Nigerian citizen, but over a year and half now, The SARS officers have gone rouge, Beating, Harassing and molesting the Nigerian Youth for no reason at all.

So many complains have been made with changes being promised but reverse is the case. We now live in a Nigeria where you can’t go out your way freely without being beating up by officers of the SARS
