Open Letter To The Hon. Ajit Pai-Chairman of the FCC

Dear Chairman Pai: I am writing this open letter to you in the hopes it will not fall on deaf ears. Chairman Pai I realize due to budgetary restraints it may be you don't have enough manpower to enforce the FCC rules and regulations governing the use of amateur radio so here is a proposal that I hope you will find reasonable or at least take a careful look at the possibility and perhaps grant us in the amateur radio community an audience: I propose due to possible manpower shortages that a national coalition to prevent amateur radio abuse be formed with your support, guidance, and resources be made available to those who support a national coalition to prevent amateur radio abuse. I am proposing if you support this idea that you will select and train those in the amateur radio community in the use of equipment that pinpoints and tracks radio signals from those who are abusing the airwaves. Mr. Chairman I humbly implore you to please take a closer look at the amateur radio abuse being perpetrated on the airwaves for this matter has gotten worse. Many of us within the amateur radio community want to get more involved but we also need support from the federal government for it is my sincere belief if a national coalition to prevent amateur radio abuse is formed along with the support of the FCC solely dedicated to the purpose to prevent amateur radio abuse together we can make a change to greatly decrease the abuse taking place on the amateur radio airwaves.
