Robert Courtney is a mass murder, rescind his early release.
The Issue
Robert Courtney killed thousands of people including my grandma. She was ready to fight Cancer head on with the help of medication. She was optimistic, but little did she know the diluted prescriptions provided by her pharmacist, Robert Courtney, would fight against her. This man’s pure greed would go on to kill THOUSANDS of others. Yesterday it was announced the Federal Bureau of Prisons approved Robert Courtney for early release due to COVID, slashing 7 years from his 30 year sentence. For one, the families of his 42,000 victims should have a say in his early release. He already got a plea deal that prevented him from getting a life in prison. In honor of all the victims he, at a minimum, should complete his sentence in prison vs in the luxury of his home with loved ones. For two, if the BOP is looking for inmates to release they should consider the magnitude of the crime committed. Mass murders should never be eligible for any early release program, regardless if likelihood is low for repeat behavior. And for three, I refuse to believe of the 2 million inmates in the US there weren’t more suitable candidates. I want the Department of Justice/Office of the Inspector General to overturn this decision so justice can be served to all the victims.
