IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE HAS EVER HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO SESAME (especially if it was caused due to poor or misleading food labeling or disclosures) here’s a survey you should take to report any incidents or allergic reactions you’ve had – PLEASE DO REPORT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING – BECAUSE THIS DATA WILL BE USED TO LOBBY THE FDA FOR BETTER LABELING LAWS. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/sesame_reports
Also, FYI, CSPI updated its terrific comprehensive report on sesame allergies in April of 2018. This report is a gret resource for anyone with sesame allergies, as it lists which brands are good (and bad) at labeling for sesame, and identifies many hidden sources of sesame. PLEASE DOWNLOAD AND READ THIS REPORT. Here’s a link to the most updated version as of April 2018: https://cspinet.org/sites/default/files/attachment/seeds-of-change-report.pdf
For a quick summary of the report, here are a couple news articles about the updated report
