The result? A catastrophic 4-0 humiliation at the hands of Atlético Madrid at the Metropolitano. Our Copa del Rey defense is now hanging by a thread.

But let's be clear: this was not a one-off. This was simply the last drop that made the cup overflow.

The Real Problem: A Pattern of Wasted Chances — Every Single Match
Anyone who watches Barcelona regularly knows the truth. Ferran Torres wastes chances at a rate that is simply unacceptable for a club of this stature. Match after match, game after game, he squanders golden opportunities that other forwards would bury with their eyes closed.

Reinvest the money in a real striker. Barcelona's attack is world-class everywhere except the position Torres occupies. The club must use the funds from his sale to bring in a forward who can actually finish the extraordinary chances this team creates every single match.
Accountability from the coaching staff. Hansi Flick's decision to start Torres over Lewandowski in a Copa del Rey semifinal must be seriously questioned. This kind of blind faith in a player who consistently fails in big moments is costing the club trophies.
No more excuses. We have heard it all — "he works hard," "he's improving," "he scored a hat-trick." Enough. Hard work without quality is not enough for FC Barcelona.
