Elaine & Richard have been told by their neighbour he is going to cut back the 150 year old stunning Copper Beech to the boundary they share. This will effectively halve the tree, take away it's beauty & destroy its shape. My parents have nurtured this tree for 45 years. The neighbour has already cleared an entire section of beautiful woodland & created a scar on the North Downs Greenbelt Valley.The loss to wildlife & beauty is significant.

My parents Beech tree poses no danger as it's healthy, & is in its prime. It doesn't block ANY light from the neighbours immense garden, or view or space.

It will have an environmental impact on all the wildlife it harbors & release carbon into the air. A tree of this size & age stores 7500kg of carbon, & it will release even more when the wood is burnt.

My 80 year old parents are absolutely heart broken their beloved tree is to be mutilated.

Please Faye Hobbs - Gravesham Planning Department place a Tree Protection Order on this beautiful Beech to protect it from unnecessary harm.
