Well, after sending our engineer report and sign off to the county we have received a phone call, requesting more. Permits, we had to get a building permit (no idea why, we aren't building anything) which we went to the county office for today, that cost us $700. We need to get a gas permit and an electrical permit which were also already in place, no idea how much those will cost. I mean hey, we are staying open but we are dipping into our wedding gift money to cover the ridiculous costs. And this is just to finish "this step" once we have acquired those things they will tell us next steps. I honestly think there are just going to be step after step.... We've angered them, there have been articles written in Okotoks and Calgary papers and our MLA popped in saying he received a call from Jason Kenney asking what the heck is going on, so we have traction. We are going to a town meeting in Black Diamond to speak with other business owners tonight. We will keep you all posted and again thank you for your support, it means so much to us.
