Great news. In case you didn’t catch our latest Instagram post. We had an engineer contact us that wanted to help, he is a fellow small business owner and realizes the importance of farm stores. He came out today and did the sign off we needed for our building. We have won a small battle and should get to stay open (unless they put another road block up). But we are still putting pressure on the county. The bylaws need to change so that other agritourism businesses don’t have to have similar fights and struggles. The foothills tourism association did a bylaw comparison featuring other county’s that have bylaws supporting agritourism business like farm stores. It has been sent to me and I will be submitting it along with the petition and all the comments about the importance of farm stores.
