Fair Pay for All Jordanian Workers—Time for Change!
Fair Pay for All Jordanian Workers—Time for Change!
The Issue
Every day, Jordanians work tirelessly—doctors saving lives, teachers shaping the future, nurses caring for the sick, and countless others keeping our country running. Yet far too many earn barely enough to survive, with minimum wages that don’t cover rent, food, utilities, or basic needs.
Doctors, for example, work 12–18 hour shifts for as little as 600 JD per month, and many other workers face similarly impossible conditions. This is unacceptable, compared to the 11,840 JD minimum in the US.
We call on King Abdullah II and the Jordanian government to:
Raise minimum wages so all workers can live with dignity.
Ensure fair pay for skilled professions, including doctors, teachers, and healthcare workers.
Improve working conditions and benefits across all sectors.
A nation is only as strong as the people who build it. It’s time for Jordan to value its workers and invest in its future. Sign this petition to demand fair wages and a decent life for all!
