It should not be so difficult to get Facebook to abide by their own rules to remove a page that is blatently and clearly racist...Who is monitoring and making the decisions at Facebook about what is deemed appropriate???

Facebook and the racists need to be held accountable.

I came across this very racist page "Native American Pride" on FB here is the link: facebook https://www.facebook.com/completeamerican  

Here are some comments made by the racist, "thats right dark man! wear that flag proudly! AMERICA is your master now! PRAISE JESUS!"

"All i can do is laugh out loud at the negativity visiting this page. all i need to know is love will conquer all ! Everyone of you are jealous that white people are taking over your tribes! its the lords choice not yours. we will continue to mix, your dark children don't even want dark babies that is why they mix with whites! get over it..."

"Native American PRIDE you are black. you are already bleached out...there is no indian left in you! real natives love white skin!"

Borrowing the words of Sonia Iiswa who has also started a petition,

"For a year now people have been asking facebook to remove it yet they get the same message I have recieved "this page will not be removed", however facebook gives you the option to report it the steps to do that are -I dont think this should be on facebook-hate speech- Targets a race or ethnic group. This page obviously fits this catagory, also here is what facebook considers against their policy "Facebook does not permit hate speech, but distinguishes between serious and humorous speech. While we encourage you to challenge ideas, institutions, events, and practices, we do not permit individuals or groups to attack others based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or medical condition." This page has been up for more than a year!!!! Please sign the petition to let facebook know this is not ok! if we can get enough signitures we can make this page dissapear, also signing this lets facebook know we want a public appology for not taking this serious."

By not removing this page Mark Zuckergerg of Facebook is sending a message that they won't enforce their rules even in the face of public demand. That hate speech is tolerated and that it is OK to denigrate a certain race or group of people.
