Remixing the feed will make Instagram less useful as a real-time content feed because the most recent posts won’t necessarily be at the top. Users will have to worry about making their posts good enough to be chosen by the algorithm or their posts could be de-prioritised. And brands might lose the reach of a previously reliable marketing channel, the same way they did with Facebook Pages.

Many small businesses rely on Instagram as their main marketing channel as Facebook has killed off it's pages by introducing boosted posts and constricted the organic reach of pages

This is obviously another money making scheme by Facebook as if someone didn't want to see the posts of a particular Instagram account then they wouldn't be following them in the first place! we don't need an algorithm to decide for us what we would like to see we are perfectly capable of making that decision!
