On April 27 2021 Heather Trevaskis and Jayden Belle Henderson were at the home of their neighbors  pet sitting their two large dogs and. While Jayden played in the backyard with one of the dogs she tripped and fell when one of the dogs began attacking her. Her mother who saw the incident ran to help from inside pulling the dog off her daughter only to be attacked by the other until neighbors and then first responders arrived to intervene.

Young sweet Jayden had succumbed to her injuries from the brutal attack and her mother Heather is recovering from her injuries. A devastated family is in grief that can never be recovered from and action must be taken to ensure the family gets justice and that no one else will ever be harmed by these dogs.

have submitted a permit application to the Garner Police Department to designate the dogs as dangerous and to allow them to come home. This would allow the dogs to live right by Heather and her family. This was an unprovoked attack on a innocent girl who was familiar with these dogs and it should be that they are humanely euthanized in consequence as justice to her and her family and for the safety of the community.
