This is a heartfelt plea for justice — justice for Richard Silverman,  was a Vietnam Veteran, a Safe Professional Driver, A union man and a loved member of the Hog Harley owners group. Richard’s life was ended abruptly and tragically during a group ride when a man recklessly crossed over to the wrong side of the road, hitting Richard and killing him upon impact. Despite the extreme negligence on the part of the guilty party, no arrest was made. A warrant for his arrest has been issued. To add insult to injury, this man fled the United States and is now in New Zealand.

Richard was not just a biker - he was a friend, a family man, and a responsible driver who understood the sanctity of life on the road. His loss signifies a gaping hole in the lives of those he left behind, and a void in our riding group that can never be filled. The man responsible for taking this precious life away must be brought to justice.

Yet, there's a lack of action. It's profoundly unjust that this man can live with impunity while we mourn the loss of our dear friend. It's a flagrant disregard for the loss suffered by Richard's loved ones, serving as a distressing reminder of the flaws in our justice system.

We demand that the U.S authorities initiate the man's extradition process promptly. This is not just a fight for Richard; it symbolizes our collective struggle for justice and fairness. Let's not allow Richard's death to be in vain. Let's restore faith in our justice system by ensuring that the man responsible for this tragedy is held accountable under U.S law.
