Hey punk! Do you like decking the halls with drunken folly before bringing in the new year with 100 resolutions? Then this petition is for you!

If you didn't already know, The Lawrence Arms were founded in 1999 in Chicago, Illinois and have since been the reigning undisputed champions of the world... or for at least the last 26 years... For the last decade, The Larms have been selling out legendary venues like the Metro for their annual War On X-Mas.

This year, the fearless trio announced that they’ll be back to fight this abominable holiday yet again with a two-day event at Chicago’s Metro for 2025’s WOX on December 5th & 6th! But rumor has it that Jolly Old Saint Nick still has some fight in him, and two nights just won’t be enough to finish the job… After all, some of the worst disasters happen in twos: double-doinks, World Wars, Jet "2" Holidays, the whole “second JFK shooter” thing, and so on. We don’t want that evil number plaguing our beloved heroes as they fight Father Christmas again this year. But… three? Now that’s a magical number fit for a legendary trio! So why wouldn’t we want to see the greatest band in the history of the world wage Yuletide warfare and kick Kris Kringle’s ass for three glorious nights in a row?

Now, before you go and say, “Hey buddy, that’s not how this works!” I got a little story for you… 
Last year, in 2024 C.E., The Lawrence Arms and their Annual War On X-Mas faced a similar holiday hurdle. However, thanks to some local Chicago punk bands, over 100 crazy fans with bad matching orgcore tattoos, and the powers of democracy that be, we petitioned for our heroes to put on an intimate rip-roaring Thursday night show at the Cobra Lounge before their sold-out doubleheader at the Metro. (It is truly amazing what the power of a little guerrilla marketing, some signatures, and a bunch of devoted fans can do for their favorite band.)

Now that we all know the power of signing shit AND have an earlier head start, let’s all make this our year for sure! If you missed our bonus night last year, here’s what a 3rd WOX night could mean: a chance for more superfan out-of-towners (and out-of-country-ers) to make the trip; another chance for a hometown Chicago punk band (such as WOX veterans from Red Scare like Won’t Stay Dead or The Brokedowns) to open the night up; and even a chance to hear some deep cut gems from The Larms (that *allegedly* have yet to be played more than once in the past decade) like: 
- Overheated
- 3am QVC Shopping Spree Hangover
- Bonfire Park
- Chicago Is Burning
- Uptown Free Radio 
- Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been (a.k.a. Joyce Carol Oates Is a Boring Old Biddy)
