Extend the Strathspey Railway for more miles onto the Main Line and restore engines

Extend the Strathspey Railway for more miles onto the Main Line and restore engines
The Issue
The Strathspey Railway (SR) in Badenoch and Strathspey, Highland, Scotland, operates a ten-mile (16 km) heritage railway from Aviemore to Broomhill, Highland via Boat of Garten, part of the former Inverness and Perth Junction Railway (later part of the Highland Railway) which linked Aviemore with Forres. It is one of only a handful of former primary/secondary main lines to be preserved in Britain today.
The role of the Strathspey Railway Association is to provide funding and volunteers to run the Strathspey Railway. It is the biggest shareholder of the Strathspey Railway Company (the organisation which holds the light rail orders and operates the railway). Members fund various projects on the railway through an annual subscription and donations. A quarterly publication, "The Strathspey Express", is published by the Association to give members regular updates from the railway as well as articles of general railway interest.
Most of the people who work on the railway are volunteers belonging to the Association. Spey Lodge is managed by a sub-group of the Association to provide accommodation for volunteers.
The line needs to get extended to Grantown-on-Spey (West), Castle Grant Platform, Dava, Dunphail, Rafford, Forres, Nethy Bridge, Ballifurth Farm Halt, Grantown-on-Spey (East), Cromdale, Balmenach Distillery, Dalvey Farm Halt, Dalvey, Advie, Ballindalloch, Blacksboat, Knockando (Dalbealie), Gilbey's Cottages Halt, Knockando House Halt, Imperial Cottages, Carron, Dailuaine Distillery, Daliuaine Halt, Aberlour, Craigellachie, and Dufftown to the Keith and Dufftown Railway, and to Dandaleith, Rothes, Birchfield Halt, Sourden, Longmorn, Orton, Mulben, Orbliston Junction, Lhanbryde, Balnacoul Halt, Elgin, Fochabers Town, and Tauchers Platform on The Morayshire Railway, which needs to get reopened.
We also need to do more Thomas and Friends events on the Strathspey Steam Railway at Aviemore to restore and rebuild Caledonian Railway 0-6-0 Jumbo 812 No. 828 into red livery as London Midland and Scottish Railway No. 17566, British Railways Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 No. 92219, Braeriach No. 17, WD 0-6-0 Saddle Tank Engine Austerity No. 9, Balmenach No. 2 (used as Percy for Thomas days), Andrew Barclay & Son, Kilmarnock 0-4-0 DH shunter. (Works no. 517 of 1966) "Power of Enterprise.", North British Locomotive Co 0-4-0 DH shunter. Works no. 27549 of 1956, Ruston & Hornsby 0-4-0 DM shunter. Works no 265618 of 1948. Queen Anne whisky livery, Ruston & Hornsby 0-4-0 DM shunter. Works no 260756 of 1950, BR Class 107 DMBS Sc51990, BR Class 107 DMBS Sc52008, BR Class 107 DMSL Sc52030, BR Class 114 DTC E54047, BR Class 117 DMBS Sc51367, BR Class 117 DMS Sc51402, BR Class 117 TCL Sc59511 to running condition again.
We must also hire other engines on loan from The Caledonian Railway and The Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway to do more Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends events to raise funds to keep the line extending upward to a long main line and get the faces added on the engines again to make them extend the events.
