Good morning,

Thank you to all who have signed the petition for a dedicated bus service between Glasgow Airport and East Renfrewshire. We have now passed the 500 mark. That is just the start; there is a very long way to go. I was brought up campaigning. I recall in the mid-eighties when my dad campaigned with others to save Giffnock and Thornliebank Train Stations. We take that service for granted, but it could have gone had it not been for public campaigning. That is why I am a firm believer in local communities speaking up for what they need. Good things do not just happen when it comes to public services; good things are the result of people speaking up. That is what we are doing here. It is a privilege to be part of our community getting together and speaking up for better services.

Please continue to share the petition and I will continue to campaign for better public facilities for all of us in East Renfrewshire.
