Hello from me - your newest Moishe House Encinitas resident! That's right, because of YOUR support for my passion to become a resident, Moishe House has made an exception on their age restriction and I have been selected as a resident beginning in December.
While this was not our initial goal, it is BIG progress and phase one of our ultimate goal of having young adult programing for the older young adult 30+ population. So what's phase two? Glad you asked! It is my commitment, as an older young adult representative, to ensure my house becomes the ultimate inclusive environment for BOTH the 20's and 30's aged community members. My goal during my tenure is to grow participation of the Encinitas Moishe House community, as well as at our sister house in Pacific beach to the ultimate capacity. It is my mission to be the premier example of what a 30+ strong Jewish woman and resident should be. I will also continue to advocate for progress on more inclusion for those 30+ and attempt to find investors for this programming to contribute to the organization budget.
So what can you do? The answer is easy: Attend all the events! Get participation at it's highest magnitude. Only ever been to the PB House? Come join us at Encinitas! (and vice versa to our North County community members). We have some great programming coming up:
Sunday, 11/26 @ 1:30pm Join us at Costal Routes in Encinitas
Thursday, 11/30 @ 7pm Join us at our house for a game night
Wednesday, December 13th @ 7pm - Join us for my MH welcoming AND Birth-Tay Extravaganza! (more details to come)

"But it's sooo far..." I'll be putting together a carpool group at some point, so grab a buddy and come on up! Hope to see you all at an event really soon and thanks again for your support!
Sincerely,
Your new resident!
