Some readers might not want to read the entire petition. This is a brief summary of the egregious misconduct of the Federal Judge & Prosecutor. After the first trial resulted in a hung jury, the SAME Federal Judge refused to recuse himself from the second trial after baiting the jurors prior to their deliberations with the comment that Abraham was guilty! I know that is difficult to believe, but it was 1964. In the second trial, after the prosecutor's two main witnesses recanted their first trial testimony, essentially admitting perjury, Abe was still convicted. During the appeals process the Federal Prosecutor took the FIFTH AMENDMENT when asked by the defense if he had paid or offered anything of value to the two admitted perjurers. That's right, the Prosecutor took the FIFTH against self incrimination! This is not just Abraham's story from his wonderful biography, this is in the transcripts still stored in Chicago.
