My name is one of thousands on a seemingly perpetual waitlist, waiting for our student visas to be processed. Despite applying in March and enduring more than a month of anticipation, I still have no updates on my application. I've been accepted to study in Germany, and my classes start soon, but the significant delays in visa processing are jeopardizing my academic prospects.

This issue is not confined to me alone. Many students under the jurisdiction of New Delhi who have secured admission to German universities are experiencing similar distress. Our dreams of studying abroad and gaining first-hand international exposure are teetering on the brink due to sluggish visa processing times. We understand that the process can be complex, but delays of several weeks are simply unacceptable, as, other than New Delhi, every other state is processing within a week or two. 

New Delhi, even after being the national capital, isn't even processing applications more than a month old.

We implore the Ministry of External Affairs, India, and the German consular offices to recognize the urgency of this issue and take immediate measures to expedite student visa processing for Germany, particularly for those residing within the jurisdiction of New Delhi. By doing so, you will not only ensure our academic futures but also affirm your commitment to smooth and effective bureaucracy.
