To Vancouver City Council,

We, the undersigned, are calling on members of City Council to affirm your support for a Filipino Cultural Centre in Vancouver, as avowed in a motion approved unanimously on June 14, 2023.

We ask Council to uphold your commitment by voting again in Unison on October 8, 2025, in favour of a motion by Mayor Ken Sim to expedite the delivery of a Filipino Cultural Centre proposed on Main Street.

We hold that the City of Vancouver's adherence to its promise will inspire the provincial and federal governments to similarly honour their respective pledges to help the Filipino community realizes its long-awaited cultural home.
