As an English-speaking player of Genshin Impact, I am deeply disappointed by the current lack of English voice acting in the game, which significantly diminishes the overall experience for many players like myself, particularly those on the US server (as most of us on this server read and understand English the most out of the selectable languages) This issue has arisen due to union voice actors refusing to return to work, resulting in certain beloved characters being left mute. The union actors who are supposed to enrich our gaming experience are now holding it hostage. It’s time to bring change.

The core problem lies in the unwillingness of these union voice actors to come back, creating brand risks and an unsatisfactory gaming environment. Fans, including myself, feel neglected and even harassed by these "line holders," who have made clear through social media posts that they do not prioritize us, the players. Their unprofessional demeanor and indifference to our community needs to be addressed immediately.

To rectify the situation, it's crucial that the developers expedite the recasting and redubbing of the English voice overs in Genshin Impact. This involves removing union actors who are hindering progress and recasting important roles, such as Paimon, currently voiced by Corina Boettger, with actors who are committed to the project and its fans.

Furthermore, it's imperative to assert that this project will remain non-union, preserving the quality and consistency that players expect from such an immersive and dynamic game.
