We, the undersigned families and residents of Hamlyn Terrace, write to you with an urgent request to expedite the interim occupation certificate for Development Application DA/471/2018 at 704 Pacific Highway, Hamlyn Terrace, NSW, 2264. This project, now completed, is crucial to addressing the significant need for care services in our area.

The construction of this facility faced numerous delays due to the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, construction delays and vandalism. These delays have further strained the availability of essential care services in our community. As a result, many families are experiencing hardship and uncertainty, particularly those in desperate need of the services that this new facility will provide.

Now that construction is complete, we implore the Council to prioritise the final approval process. Expediting the occupation certificate will not only alleviate the current pressure on local care services but also enhance the wellbeing and stability of many families within Hamlyn Terrace and the broader Central Coast region.

We deeply appreciate the Council's support and understanding of our community's needs. Your prompt action in issuing the occupation certificate will demonstrate a commitment to education and care for families in our community.
