Petition to Expand the Isanti Skatepark for Our Youth

The youth of Isanti deserve safe, healthy, and positive spaces to grow. Right now, the Isanti Skatepark is too small and lacks the variety needed for kids and teens to build their skills. With limited space, riders are crowded together, which increases the risk of accidents and limits opportunities for growth.

By expanding the skatepark, we can:

 • Give our youth a safe place to practice, progress, and build confidence.

 • Encourage healthy, active lifestyles while keeping kids engaged in positive activities.

 • Reduce overcrowding and collisions by adding more space and variety.

 • Attract families and young riders from neighboring towns, making Isanti a hub for youth recreation.

 • Open the door for youth-focused events such as scooter, skateboard, and BMX competitions.

Isanti has grown quickly in recent years, but opportunities for youth recreation have not kept pace. The skatepark expansion would directly serve the kids and teens of our community, offering them a safe and exciting place to spend their time.

We, the undersigned, ask the Isanti City Council to support our youth of all ages by expanding the Isanti Skatepark.
