We are residents of Sammamish, WA, USA, living in an area where the nearest bus stop is a two-hour walk away. This lack of public transportation access affects not only us but also many others in our community who do not own cars, are unable to drive or are too young to drive. We really need your support to break down barriers for non-drivers and improve our quality of life.

We all urge Metro Flex to expand its service coverage within the zip codes 98074, 98075, and 98029. Ideally, this would include all addresses within these areas or at least those that currently have no bus stop within a five-minute walk from their address. Furthermore, we kindly request an extension of operating hours on weekdays from 6am-7pm and weekends from 8am-7pm.

The city of Sammamish has seen significant growth over the years with an estimated population increase of over 20% since 2010 (U.S Census Bureau). With this growth comes increased demand for accessible public transportation options.

By expanding Metro Flex's services and operating hours in Sammamish as requested above, we can ensure that every resident has access to reliable transportation options—reducing dependency on personal vehicles and contributing towards a more sustainable future for our city. This will also enable people to commute easier to/from church on Sundays.

Expanding Metro Flex on the map will also create more demand for more vehicles, and more drivers. Thus creating lots of new jobs!
