However, the current memory limitations fall short of allowing us to fully benefit from this incredible tool. We’re calling on OpenAI to expand the memory available to paid members.

To put things in perspective, text data takes up very little storage. A typical Word document containing approximately 174,763 words—more than enough to capture years of personalized interactions—only amounts to about 1 megabyte (MB). Considering this, the current restrictions on memory seem overly conservative, especially given the text-based nature of ChatGPT.

Why This Matters:
