Hello Pool Advocates!

This is our moment to show the City how much our community cares about the future of the Green Lake Pool!

Next week, you will have 2 opportunities to learn about the latest plans for the new Green Lake Pool and make your voice heard. Please attend either city meeting on Wednesday, July 15, at 5:30 p.m. and/or Saturday, July 18, at 10:00 a.m.

Bring your voices, your ideas, your friends, and your family. The more community members who attend, the stronger our message will be: Seattle deserves a modern aquatic facility that meets the needs of our growing city.

Next week, I will follow up with a reminder and send out some mock-up signs and posters advocating support for a larger capacity pool. Feel free to bring one or create your own.

Both meetings will be at the Green Lake Community Center: 7201 East Green Lake Way N

I will be coming straight from the airport to Wednesday’s meeting, but I will also be at Saturday’s meeting. I hope to see many of you there!
