07/15/25: NOTICES ARE BEING REMOVED FROM THE BULLETIN BOARD AT MAILBOXES! We have observed this repeated occurrence but won’t let it stop us. Please continue to check back for updates and share this petition, if possible. The more signatures we have the more chance we have at legal grounds. 


06/24/25: Work has finally begun on the pool. Today, workers can be seen digging up the entire bottom surface and starting the process. With the first email about the pool closure being sent on 04/10/25, it took 2 months and 2 weeks to see any work being done. This petition was only started 10 days ago. With its presence, we have worked together and succeeded. Thank you to everyone who has signed. We will continue to leave this petition live until the management/owner of Horizon Ridge Park provides us tenants with the living conditions and amenities we deserve, and are entitled to per our lease(s). 

 

Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this.

As residents of the property owned by Horizon Ridge Inc. at 2575 W Horizon Ridge Parkway, Henderson, NV 89052, we are being misinformed, misled, and unjustly mistreated.

If you haven’t already noticed, we are all paying for a lack of amenities. In addition, we are paying for a poorly kept property with respect to landscaping, hygiene, and cleanliness. Please continue to read:

THE POOL- is closed for “repairs” however this is not the case. After investigation with the City of Henderson:

  1. There has been NO PERMIT for work applied for by the property.
  2. There is no permit required by the city of Henderson for pool resurfacing.
  3. If a permit had been applied for, the process takes less than 2 weeks.                  

We were all told, via email in April, that the pool was drained and closed for resurfacing. This email also claimed that the city required a permit to perform such work and that process took about a month. After which, the pool would be filled and tended to in a respective pool manner. There was no timeline given for how long this amenity would be closed; however it appears that the pool will be unavailable for the entire summer since there has been zero progress with any of the claimed work. 

THE GYM- there is NO WORKING A/C in this space. The current temperature on the thermostat in the fitness area/gym reads at 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Not only are these unsafe conditions but it’s also illegal to have this space open in those conditions. On top of broken equipment, we are now paying for an unsafe environment.

THE LANDSCAPING- piled up dead leaves, debris and overgrown plants attract pests. As we know, the hotter temperatures attract bugs and not the kind we like. A simple weekly landscaping would help to deter infestations but we don’t see it happening. 

PESTS- to expand on the aforementioned, this property still has a rat problem and it’s not being addressed. Rats carry disease. There are children who play outside and this is a serious concern for them; in addition to the countless pet owners who walk their dogs. 

As tenants, we do have rights towards habitable living space and we all pay to have amenities. Currently, our rights are being violated. If you are interested in signing this petition to prove that we are all experiencing a breach of contract, please follow the steps on this page.
