Don't Disconnect Libya – Give Starlink Users a Fair Connectivity Solution

To Starlink, SpaceX, and Elon Musk,

Libya is a country where reliable internet access remains a daily challenge for many people. From students and families to small businesses and communities in remote areas, staying connected is essential.

For many Libyans, Starlink represents more than just an internet service. It represents an opportunity for better communication, education, economic growth, and access to the digital world.

However, the 30-day international roaming restriction creates uncertainty for users in Libya who depend on Starlink terminals registered in other countries.

People should not have to worry about suddenly losing their connection simply because a permanent local service option is not yet available.

We are calling on Starlink and SpaceX to:

1. Introduce a special temporary roaming arrangement for users in Libya.

2. Extend or suspend the 30-day roaming restriction for Libya where legally possible.

3. Provide a clear and affordable path toward officially supported Starlink services in Libya.

4. Work with Libyan authorities to find a sustainable solution that benefits both customers and the country.

We understand the importance of international regulations and local licensing. We are not asking Starlink to ignore the law. We are asking for a fair, practical solution while official service arrangements are being developed.

Libya is ready for a more connected future.

Our students deserve opportunities. Our businesses deserve reliable communication. Our families deserve to stay connected.

We ask Starlink to recognize the needs of Libyan users and work toward a solution that keeps Libya connected.
