Dear everyone

I recently received a response from Natural England to the scientific evidence and expert opinion that I sent them that shows how the protected stag beetle and its habitat will be threatened by development all over London in the new London Plan. This is a very sad situation and brings us even closer to challenging the London Plan in the courts.

Marc Willers QC has already given his opinion that there are grounds to challenge the London Plan on its policy for heritage assets and, if Marc considers that the scientific evidence and expert opinion I have gathered support my claims, I will have grounds for challenging the Plan - and its Habitats Regulations Assessment - on its failure to take the threats to the stag beetle in to account

I also continue to build a case for challenging the housing targets for Kingston in particular and the London Plan's policies for open and green spaces

It is important to keep momentum going while I keep asking the various bodies involved in the London Plan to consider revising their policies for growth in London to take in to account the issues we are raising

As much as anything, I need to show The Mayor of London and Robert Jenrick that I am not alone and that there are many people standing alongside me to support this case
