Dear everyone
I have spoken again to Marc Willers QC and I will be moving forward with a legal challenge of the London Plan when it is published
Please donate whatever you can afford at:
www.gofundme.com/f/save-london-now
Marc Willers will consider the possibility of multiple grounds on top of a definite challenge of the Plan's heritage policies. Other possible grounds for a challenge include the assessment of Kingston's housing targets, whether policies for open space in the London Plan conform with national policy, and whether the habitats regulations assessment abided by the "precautionary principle" required in law when it ruled out adverse effects of development on protected sites such as Richmond Park, Wimbledon Common and Epping Forest
Following Robert Jenrick's announcement of his intention to stop local communities across the country from being able to influence in any way the extent of development in areas designated as "growth" or "regeneration" areas in Local Plans, and given that the London Plan dictates which areas will be condemned with such a designation across the capital city, I have decided to start fundraising NOW to challenge the London Plan
I will need to raise a significant amount of money to take Robert Jenrick and Sadiq Khan's plans to judicial review. But we can do it together
Please contribute whatever you can afford to support my challenge and share information with everyone you know
This is for London, the people of London and the environment, neighbourhoods and communities that we all cherish
The London Plan must be stopped. If we stop the plan, we will also show Jenrick how he needs to approach planning across England if he sincerely wants growth that is good for everybody
