Prior to publishing evidence of why Kingston council and the GLA's growth plans for the Borough are unsound, I am writing to Ed Davey, MP for Kingston and Surbiton, and Zac Goldsmith, MP for Richmond Park and North Kingston, for their personal views on the council's massive growth plans, the "opportunity area" and whether decision making and been sound and democratic.

Given Ed Davey is standing for leader of the Liberal Democrat party at the forthcoming leadership election, let's hope that Sir Edward will have something meaningful to say. After all, surely he needs to show the country that he supports and stands up for his constituents if he wants to show that he will stand up for the people of the whole country?

Given that the country may well be facing a General Election at any time, let's hope that Zac Goldsmith will also want to show his support for his constituents in North Kingston who are aghast at the way the council and the GLA have pushed through their plans to develop our Royal Borough on a massive scale. Surely Zac is aware that development on the scale envisaged will have a severely detrimental impact on the environment and biodiversity in and around the Borough, including Richmond Park and the River Thames?

Please send me your name, email address and postcode if you would like your name to appear on the letter and, if you know it, who is your MP
