Nazis have been gathering at the Legacy Boxing Gym in Sunshine West. They have been photographed waving SS flags, far-right signs, and other Nazi-related symbols in the gym and on the footpath outside. They have held mass gatherings on weekends, potentially in breach of planning permits and local laws.

For years, migrants and refugees have called Sunshine West home. But now Nazis have found a home in the Legacy Boxing Gym. So long as Nazis are organising and recruiting, they remain a threat to everyone in the communities they infect.

The Nazis connected to the Legacy Boxing Gym have held demonstrations calling for migration to be stopped and supporting transphobe Kellie-Jay Keen aka Posie Parker.

The far right are using this space to spread their movement and grow their numbers, but people are standing up. In July, over 350 people joined a demonstration to stand up against Legacy Boxing Gym and their far right recruitment activities.

It’s time for those in power to join us in standing up to the Nazis.

That’s why we are calling on Brimbank Council and the building owners to evict the Nazis from Sunshine West. This will help to put pressure on the council and building owners and let them know that the community is watching and expects them to act.
