Los Angeles County is considering giving unserved and underserved communities a slow, outdated, expensive and hazardous wireless broadband technology instead of the fast, secure fiber optic connections that other communities have.

It's been twenty years since the big telecom giants, the grandparents of today's wireless companies, promised to connect everyone with fiber optic cable. We paid for it through our landline phone bills, but they never competed the job. Now we are demanding they get it done! We the people deserve fast, reliable, superior internet access!
