OPEN MORE OHRV TRAILS IN MASSACHUSETTS

OPEN MORE OHRV TRAILS IN MASSACHUSETTS
The Issue
Since when did it become a crime to have fun with friends on the weekend or after work. According to Massachusetts any OHRV is nothing but a loud machine that causes nothing but destruction. I’m here to say that is completely false and the time has come to address the issue. There are thousands of people in Massachusetts who ride legal dirt bikes, atvs and side by sides. The problem is there is nowhere legal to ride in MA close to the Boston / North Shore area. As a result people have two options. Risk being fined thousands of dollars for riding illegally or drive up to 2 hours one way. Riding is a fun family activity that many people enjoy and it’s time that MA recognizes it. OHRV don’t cause any destruction to the environment or watershed. New technology has allowed exhausts to be the quietest they have ever been and produce little to no smoke. There have also been studies that prove trees, vines, shrubs and other vegetation absorb sound. It’s time that all riders come together and show MA how strong of a community we really are and that we are not all looking to cause trouble. We are working members of society just looking to have some fun. It’s time that Massachusetts gives us legal trails to ride, which will solve the issue of illegal riders on the street and it will generate income for the state. If you go to any legal trail system in New Hampshire you will see exactly what we need here in Massachusetts. Please sign if you agree.
