I ask for ecological justice in European Union.

I ask for ecological justice in European Union.
The Issue
I ask for ecological justice in European Union.
Everyday across the European Union, companies are peacefully contributing to global warming by their activities, or by funding ecocide projects that affect our Mother Earth.
The environmental policy of the Union means to make those companies pay for the crimes that they commit against nature. Indeed, the "directive 2004/35/CE of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 April 2004 on environmental liability with regard to the prevention and remedying of environmental damage" tells that "The prevention and remedying of environmental damage should be implemented through the furtherance of the "polluter pays" principle"
In fact, the application of this principle isn't concrete. For example, since Paris agreement was signed, 10 European banks such as BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank funded fossil fuel industry of up to 441,8 Billions $. And no one of those banks get worried for that.
That is why I ask the European Parliament to think on a tax at European scale for polluting companies to fund ecological friendly projects such as investments on renewable energies. The funds raise by this tax should be used by European Investment Bank according to the EIB energy lending policy.
The European Parliament shown us previously that he wants to respect 2015 Paris agreement by adopting rate targets for European countries on renewable energies, this tax could help the achievement of this goal.
