EU commission sticks to cash refunds for cancelled trips but will not insist that the law is enforce

The EU called on all member states on Wednesday (13 May) to stick to EU rules on passenger rights for booked journeys cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic - but stayed away from starting legal proceedings against EU countries over the issue of cash refunds.

In other words the law exists, but if companies don't refund bad luck because no one is going to enforce it.

PLEASE PROMOTE THE PETITION. What use is consumer protection that can be ignored at whim?
