Demand that production, import and sale of all fur products are banned within the European Union as an extension of its ban on cat and dog fur (Regulation No 1523/2007) as well as seal fur products (Regulation No 1007/2009). The UK has already banned fur farming on ethical grounds. However, fur products are allowed to be introduced on the European market.  It is well known that many exporting countries do not respect basic ethical norms (e.g. Asian countries).
