PETITION LETTER TO EU LEADERS
(🇬🇧 ENGLISH)
TO:
•       Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission
•       Antonio Costa, President of the European Council
•       Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament
•       The 27 Heads of State and Government of the EU

Dear Madam President of the European Commission, Dear Mr. President of the European Council, Dear Madam President of the European Parliament, Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, European Leaders,

Donald Trump is using presidential power to dismantle democratic norms and threaten European sovereignty. Your response at Davos proved that European unity and firmness work — Trump backed down when faced with coordinated pressure. Now we must transform this tactical success into lasting strategic autonomy.

THREATS TO EUROPE
Economic warfare:
•          Threatens massive tariffs to undermine our economy

•          Already imposed 15% tariffs under the lopsided Turnberry agreement (July 2025) — while eliminating all tariffs for American goods entering Europe

•          Threatened additional 10% tariffs on six EU nations defending Greenland (total: 25%)

•          Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick openly linked tariff reductions to weakening EU tech regulation

Territorial aggression:
•          Threatened to annex Greenland (Danish territory — a NATO ally!), Canada, and the Panama Canal

•          Only backed down when Europe showed military resolve (symbolic troop deployment) and suspended trade agreement ratification

NATO undermining:
•          Threatens withdrawal, insults allied soldiers who died in combat (457 British, 89 French, 43 Polish in Afghanistan)

•          Withdrew 200 personnel from NATO structures

•          Creates uncertainty about Article 5 commitments

Attack on international law:
•          Sanctions our ICC judges (including French judge Nicolas Guillou), depriving them of banking, Google, Amazon, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard

•          Military intervention: Invaded Venezuela without UN mandate — 80 years of international law discarded

ATTACKS ON DEMOCRACY & HUMAN RIGHTS
State violence:
•          ICE executed American citizens Renée Good (January 7, 2026) and Alex Pretti (37, ICU nurse, January 24, 2026) in cold blood during Minneapolis crackdown

•          Since January 2025, federal agents (ICE/CBP) have killed 7 and wounded 19 in immigration operations

•          328,000 arrests in one year; 170+ U.S. citizens illegally detained

•          Budget tripled to $75 billion — this is terror, not security

Press persecution:
•          FBI raided Washington Post journalist Hannah Natanson’s home (January 14, 2026) — first time in U.S. history for a leak investigation

Political threats:
•          Threatened to “hang” Senator Elissa Slotkin for reminding military of constitutional duty to refuse illegal orders

Criminalizing dissent:
•          Declared “Antifa” a terrorist organization — anyone protesting fascists becomes a “terrorist”

Rewarding violence:
•          Pardoned all January 6 Capitol rioters

Epstein files — conflicts of interest at the highest levels:
•          On January 30, 2026, the DOJ released 3.5 million pages of Epstein files — but identified over 6 million potentially responsive pages and withheld roughly half, while claiming full compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The bipartisan sponsors of the law — including Republican Rep. Thomas Massie — formally demanded access to unredacted files, stating: “The DoJ said it identified over 6 million potentially responsive pages but is releasing only about 3.5 million after review and redactions. This raises questions as to why the rest are being withheld.” Twenty Epstein survivors issued a joint statement: “Survivors are having their names and identifying information exposed, while the men who abused us remain hidden and protected.”

•          Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick — the man who links EU tariff negotiations to European tech regulation — visited Epstein’s private island in December 2012 with his family, and email correspondence confirms continued contact with Epstein through at least 2015, including a 2015 invitation to a Hillary Clinton fundraiser Lutnick hosted. On January 30, 2026, Lutnick told the New York Times: “I spent zero time with him” — then hung up. This directly contradicts his earlier public claim of having cut all contact after 2005. (Confirmed by CNN, The Guardian, NBC News, and CNBC.)

•          Elon Musk’s emails with Epstein from 2012 to 2013 show him actively seeking to visit Epstein’s island. In one exchange, Musk asked: “What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?” and later stated the “peaceful island experience is the opposite of what I’m looking for.” This directly contradicts Musk’s repeated public claims — including a September 2025 post on X stating he “REFUSED” all invitations. This is directly relevant given the ongoing European Commission investigation into sexualized deepfake images generated by Grok. (Confirmed by CNN, NBC News, The Guardian, The Independent, Daily Beast, CNBC, and People.)

Tech-enabled abuse:
•          X’s AI chatbot Grok generated 3 million sexualized deepfake images in two weeks, including tens of thousands depicting children

•          Victims include Swedish Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch

•          European Commission investigation launched (January 29, 2026) but reportedly delayed during Greenland crisis — we cannot let geopolitical fears paralyze enforcement of our own laws

TRUMP’S MANIPULATION TACTIC
Trump uses fears and divisions to fracture European unity. Whether claiming to “protect Greenland from Russia” or “help Iranians,” these are false pretexts. Trump serves only his interests and those of his inner circle, not European security or democratic values.

Political forces that align with Trump’s agenda risk undermining European unity precisely when coordinated action is essential to defend our collective sovereignty.

You cannot defend European sovereignty by submitting to Trump’s threats.

THE LESSON OF HISTORY
Munich, September 1938: We appeased Hitler to “save peace.” One year later: World War II. Death toll: 50-85 million.

Davos, January 2026: Europe showed that firmness works. Our leaders spoke with one voice:

•          President von der Leyen declared that Europe must “break with traditional caution” in a world defined by “raw power.”

•          President Macron stated: “When Europe is united, strong, reacts quickly, things fall into place.”

•          Chancellor Merz affirmed: “A world where only power counts is dangerous for everyone.”

Europe refused Trump’s “Peace Council” — which sought to replace the UN with Putin’s participation. The European Parliament officially suspended the approval process for the U.S. trade agreement, which had aimed to reduce American tariffs on European goods from 30% to 15%. This suspension remains in force: European officials demand non-coercion safeguards and reliable diplomatic relations before any resumption. Trump backed down on Greenland and withdrew his tariff threats.

As French MEP Bernard Guetta observed: “When Europe shows its muscles, Trump retreats.”

But we cannot predict an unpredictable man. Days after backing down, he confused Belgium with Belarus, continued attacking the ICC, and maintained threats against our allies.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen spoke the truth: “The old world is gone and will not return.”

THE HARD TRUTH: AMERICA WON’T SAVE US
Some European leaders still hope this is temporary — that American voters will remove Trump, or that he’ll moderate. This is wishful thinking.

Political reality:

•          Even if Democrats win the House in November 2026 (60-65% probability), impeachment requires 67 Senate votes

•          With Republicans holding 52-53 Senate seats, removal is mathematically nearly impossible

•          Trump will almost certainly complete his term through January 2029 (probability of earlier removal: 5-8%)

•          Even if he loses in 2028, the transition period (November 2028-January 2029) poses maximum danger — a cornered Trump facing certain prosecution

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte warned: “If someone thinks the EU can defend itself without the US… keep dreaming! You cannot!”

Rutte is right about current capabilities — but wrong about the solution. The problem isn’t that we lack American support. The problem is that America actively threatens us. We must build the defense Europe needs, regardless of U.S. intentions.

 WHAT WE DEMAND
We, European citizens, demand that you consolidate the Davos success, prepare Europe for future threats, and transform tactical firmness into lasting strategic autonomy — so that Europe no longer depends on an unpredictable American administration.

1. MASSIVE INVESTMENT IN EUROPEAN SOVEREIGNTY (€200 billion/year)
The Davos moment proved economic pressure works. Now institutionalize it:

Defense autonomy: Independent European defense, no longer dependent on unpredictable NATO

Energy independence: Accelerate renewable energy, end fossil fuel dependence

Technology sovereignty:

•          European semiconductors, AI, cloud infrastructure

•          Follow France’s model: Paris is removing Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Google Meet from all government departments by 2027, replacing them with French-developed Visio (hosted on sovereign cloud Outscale)

•          Expand this to all 27 member states

Financial independence: Payment systems independent of U.S. dollar control

Trade diversification: Strengthen partnerships with Africa, Asia, Latin America

FUNDING SOURCES (total available: €390-450B/year):

Super-wealth tax (2% above €50M)
€50B
Targets ~0.01% of population; countries with wealth taxes (Norway, Switzerland, Spain) show minimal capital flight when properly designed

Financial transaction tax (0.1%)
€57B
Tiny tax on stock/bond trades; 11 EU countries already exploring this (Enhanced Cooperation framework)

Tax evasion recovery
€100B
EU Tax Observatory estimates €100-150B lost annually to evasion; enhanced cooperation + public registries can recover significant portion

End fossil fuel subsidies
€55B
EU currently subsidizes fossil fuels €55B/year (International Energy Agency data); redirect to renewables

Pooled defense efficiencies
€30-50B
EU countries spend €240B/year on defense with massive duplication; joint procurement + economies of scale yield 15-20% savings

Sovereign tech savings
€5-10B
France estimates €1M saved per 100,000 users switching to Visio; extrapolated across EU public sector

TOTAL AVAILABLE
€297-377B/year

Required for sovereignty plan
€200B/year

SURPLUS
€97-177B/year
Available for debt reduction, social investment, or contingency

Economic impact is manageable:

•          Current tariffs cost only 0.2% of GDP in 2025

•          Even +10% additional tariffs would cost 0.2-0.5% GDP

•          EU exports to US = only 3% of European GDP

•          Strategic autonomy investment will boost European growth long-term (multiplier effect: defense/tech R&D creates jobs, renewable energy reduces import costs)

•          Current dependence creates vulnerability with NO upside

The money exists. The question is political will.

2. DEPLOY THE “BAZOOKA” — GRADUATED SANCTIONS WITH TEETH
The Anti-Coercion Instrument (ACI) was designed for moments like this. Use it.

Phase 1: Immediate actions (already partially implemented)

•          Maintain suspension of Turnberry trade agreement ratification until Trump respects international law

•          Lift sanctions against our ICC judges + impose counter-sanctions against those who sanctioned them

•          EU-guaranteed substitute banking for sanctioned judges

•          Prepare €93 billion in retaliatory counter-tariffs (already outlined by Commission)

Phase 2: If Trump threatens again

•          Targeted tariffs on U.S. products (Tesla, tech hardware, weapons)

•          Asset freezes for human rights violators

•          Digital sovereignty measures against Big Tech:

–         Impose digital taxes (France already does this — expand EU-wide)

–         “Network fees” on Netflix, Google, Amazon for disproportionate data traffic

–         Restrict cloud services access to public contracts (Microsoft, Google, Amazon)

–         Treat user data as “raw material” subject to tariffs

–         Enforce Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act without political interference or delay

–         Complete the Grok investigation with full resources and urgency — allegations of mass production of sexualized deepfake images, including depictions of children, demand immediate enforcement regardless of geopolitical pressure

•          Exclusion from sporting competitions in Europe

•          Accelerate restrictions on Chinese telecom (Huawei) while applying same cybersecurity scrutiny to U.S. tech (Starlink, Microsoft, Amazon cloud)

We acknowledge the challenge: Europe depends on U.S. tech. We cannot immediately cut Google, Amazon cloud, or Facebook. But we can:

•          Use regulation to change behavior (DSA allows fines up to 6% global revenue)

•          Gradually build alternatives (like France’s Visio)

•          Create economic pain that changes corporate calculations

As analysts note: “Europe has the weapons to wound both Washington and Silicon Valley. The unanswered question is whether it has the will.”

WE DEMAND YOU SHOW THAT WILL.

Phase 3: EMERGENCY RESPONSE if Trump attempts Greenland invasion or similar territorial aggression

•          Immediate closure of U.S. military bases in Europe

•          Total embargo on American imports

•          Complete freeze of U.S. assets in Europe

•          Suspension of all scientific/university cooperation

•          Full NATO restructuring under European command

3. HUMANITARIAN PROTECTION
•          Political asylum for: Persecuted journalists (Hannah Natanson), threatened activists, human rights defenders, those fleeing ICE terror

•          Support American democratic institutions: Independent courts, free press, civil society, state governments defending constitutional principles

•          Whistleblower sanctuary: Asylum and document protection for those exposing abuses and corruption

 4. STRENGTHEN INTERNATIONAL LAW
ICC protection: Guaranteed banking, increased funding, diplomatic defense

Universal jurisdiction — how it works:

European law (particularly Belgian, Spanish, French, and German statutes) allows prosecution of certain international crimes regardless of where they occurred or perpetrator nationality.

HOW IT APPLIES:

CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY STATUS

•          ICE: 7 killed, 19 wounded = systematic attack on civilians

•          Child trafficking networks = jus cogens crime

•          Grok: 3M sexualized images including children = CSAM production

EUROPEAN JURISDICTION TRIGGER

•          European victims (Swedish Deputy PM Ebba Busch in Grok case)

•          Perpetrators using EU digital infrastructure (X operates in EU)

•          Witnesses/whistleblowers granted asylum in Europe

WHAT EUROPE CAN DO

•          ✅ Issue arrest warrants → perpetrators can’t travel to Europe

•          ✅ Freeze European assets

•          ✅ Prosecute tech companies (X/Grok investigation already opened Jan 29)

•          ✅ Create legal record for future accountability

•          ❌ Cannot: Extradite from U.S. (while Trump controls DOJ)

WHY THIS MATTERS

•          Only enforcement mechanism outside Trump’s control

•          European courts, European prosecutors = Trump can’t suppress

•          Victims who fled to Europe can testify safely

•          Whistleblowers protected by European asylum

PRECEDENT: When Spanish judge issued Pinochet warrant, UK arrested him in London hospital (1998). He spent 503 days detained. No one is above the law.

If perpetrators of crimes against humanity enter European territory, they will face arrest. This isn’t theoretical — it’s how international justice works.

5. UNCONDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE
Even if Trump withdraws U.S. support, Europe must continue defending international law and Ukrainian sovereignty. Ukrainian resistance proves that determined defense against aggression succeeds.

6. SUPPORT AMERICAN DEMOCRACY (WITHOUT ILLUSIONS)
The best hope for Trump’s removal is American voters in November 2026 and 2028. But we cannot depend on this.

Current forecast:

•          60-65% probability Democrats retake House (November 2026)

•          If Democrats win: Investigations, potential impeachment, Trump constrained

•          But Senate conviction impossible (need 67 votes, only 52-53 GOP senators)

•          Trump almost certainly completes term through January 2029

THE REAL BATTLEGROUND: NOVEMBER 3, 2026

The most effective way to remove Trump is American voters. European support for this process should include:

1. PROTECT VOTING RIGHTS - Support organizations fighting voter suppression (ACLU, Brennan Center) - Amplify voices defending election integrity - Document interference attempts for international accountability

2. AMPLIFY DEMOCRATIC VOICES - Platform for American journalists, civil society, whistleblowers - European Parliament awards for defenders of democracy - Media space for voices censored in U.S.

3. COUNTER DISINFORMATION - Digital Services Act enforcement against election manipulation - Fact-checking cooperation with American media - X/Meta accountability for false narratives

4. ECONOMIC PRESSURE TIMING - Calibrate sanctions to maximize impact in Republican vulnerable districts - 18 competitive House races will determine control - Economic consequences in swing districts = electoral accountability

If Democrats win House: Investigations begin January 2027, impeachment likely by Spring

If Republicans hold: Europe must prepare for worst-case scenario

We support American democracy by supporting American voters’ power to hold their government accountable.

We call on European leaders to:

•          Support democratic civil society organizations in America

•          Amplify voices defending constitutional democracy

•          Provide platforms for American journalists facing censorship

•          Document abuses for future accountability (post-2029 prosecutions likely)

But build European sovereignty as if American democracy will not recover. Hope is not a strategy.

⚠️ THE MOST DANGEROUS 73 DAYS
If Trump loses the 2028 election, the period between Election Day (November 5, 2028) and Inauguration Day (January 20, 2029) will be the greatest test of American democracy in history.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM JANUARY 6:

January 6, 2021: - Trump had lost but wasn’t facing prison - Military leaders opposed him (Milley, Esper) - He didn’t know what would work

January 2029 (if he loses): - Trump facing certain prosecution and possible imprisonment - May have installed loyalists in military/DOJ by then - Knows exactly what worked and failed in 2021 - Age 83, potentially less rational - Nothing left to lose

WHAT COULD HAPPEN (Worst-Case): - Refuses to concede (claims fraud) - Invokes emergency powers / martial law - Attempts self-pardon - Incites mass violence - Refuses to leave White House - Flees to non-extradition country

EUROPE MUST PREPARE NOW: -

✅ Contingency plans for refugee surge (American democratic officials, journalists, activists) –

✅ Recognition protocols if Trump refuses to leave –

✅ Maximum economic isolation if constitutional crisis occurs –

✅ Support for American military if they uphold constitutional order

This isn’t alarmism. This is the logical endpoint of someone facing imprisonment using every tool of presidential power to avoid accountability.

The 73 days from November 5, 2028 to January 20, 2029 will determine whether American democracy survives.

Europe cannot be a spectator.

CONDITIONS FOR REBUILDING THE ALLIANCE
These measures are calibrated to Trump’s actions. We are not anti-American — we are pro-European sovereignty and pro-international law.

If the United States demonstrates respect for:

•          ✅ Territorial integrity of allies (no threats to Greenland, Canada, etc.)

•          ✅ International legal institutions (ICC, UN, ICJ)

•          ✅ Democratic norms (free press, rule of law, peaceful transfer of power)

•          ✅ Fair trade practices (no coercive tariff threats)

…then we stand ready to:

•          ✅ Ratify trade agreements

•          ✅ Lift sanctions

•          ✅ Resume full NATO cooperation

•          ✅ Rebuild the transatlantic partnership

We target authoritarianism, not America. When American democracy recovers — whether in 2027, 2029, or beyond — Europe will be a partner, not an adversary.

But we will build sovereignty as if recovery never happens. Hope is not a strategy.

CLARITY ON OUR POSITION
This is not interference in American democracy — it is defense of European sovereignty and international law.

We respect America’s right to elect its leaders. We do not respect any leader’s right to threaten our security, sanction our judges, or undermine rules that have kept peace for 80 years.

We target Trump’s authoritarianism, not the American people. These measures will be calibrated to actions taken. If the United States returns to respect for international law and democratic norms, we stand ready to rebuild our alliance.

THE POLITICAL COURAGE IMPERATIVE
Recent reports indicate that the Commission’s investigation into X’s Grok platform — which allegedly generated 3 million sexualized deepfake images including depictions of children — may have experienced delays during the Greenland crisis due to concerns about U.S. reaction. MEP Alexandra Geese characterized this as “a big mistake” driven by “fear about the reaction from the US administration.”

We recognize the extraordinary complexity of balancing multiple crises simultaneously. However, any perception that enforcement of European law — particularly the Digital Services Act in cases involving potential child sexual abuse material — can be influenced by external geopolitical considerations would fundamentally undermine the credibility of our legal framework.

President von der Leyen, we do not question your commitment to European values and law. We urge you to demonstrate that commitment unambiguously:

The principle at stake:

European law must be enforced on its legal merits, regardless of external pressure. The DSA investigation into Grok must proceed with the full independence, resources, and urgency that such serious allegations demand.

The strategic reality:

When Europe enforces its laws decisively, we demonstrate strength and deter further coercion. When we hesitate out of fear of retaliation, we signal vulnerability that invites escalation.

Davos proved that unified European firmness works. The same principle applies to law enforcement: resolve deters, hesitation encourages.

We call on the Commission to:

•          ✅ Ensure the Grok investigation proceeds without political interference

•          ✅ Allocate sufficient resources for timely completion

•          ✅ Communicate clearly that DSA enforcement is non-negotiable

•          ✅ Establish protocols to insulate regulatory processes from geopolitical pressure

This is not about any individual decision. This is about establishing the principle that European law cannot be held hostage to external threats.

The choice before European leadership:

Strategic autonomy through consistent enforcement → Result: European laws have credibility, deter violations, protect citizens

Selective enforcement based on geopolitical convenience → Result: Laws become meaningless, Europe vulnerable to coercion

We trust you will choose the former.

EUROPE PROVED AT DAVOS THAT UNITY AND FIRMNESS WORK
You suspended the trade agreement. You rejected the “Peace Council.” You deployed troops. Trump backed down.

Now finish what you started.

•          Ratify the €200B/year sovereignty investment

•          Deploy the Anti-Coercion Instrument without hesitation

•          Enforce Digital Services Act against Grok and other abuses — regardless of U.S. pressure

•          Expand France’s digital sovereignty model to all 27 nations

•          Build the defense capabilities that make NATO irrelevance survivable

The choice is clear: Strategic autonomy or continued vulnerability.

We choose sovereignty.

As President Macron declared: “Europe must refuse to become a vassal.”

As Prime Minister Frederiksen observed: “The old world is gone and will not return.”

As MEP Guetta confirmed: “When Europe shows its muscles, Trump retreats.”

Show your muscles. Make them permanent. Build the Europe that no longer needs America’s permission to defend itself.

IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS for the readers/citizens
The following sections provide detailed context, evidence, and analysis to support the petition's demands.

Why This Matters: Defending What Protects Us All
Perhaps the news depresses you to the point of disconnecting, or you think that faced with much more serious problems in the world—Iran, Palestine, Sudan, Yemen—this petition seems trivial.
You're right on one point: these crises are equally urgent.
But here's what you need to understand: This petition doesn't say "Trump is worse than the Iranian mullahs" or "America is more dangerous than Tehran." It says: "When Trump destroys international law, he gives a license to kill to ALL dictators."
When Trump Attacks the ICC, He Protects All the World's Executioners
When Trump attacks the International Criminal Court (ICC), he's not just targeting "European judges." He's destroying the only global legal instrument that can prosecute:
•       Vladimir Putin (ICC arrest warrant issued in 2023)
•       Hamas military leaders and Netanyahu (ICC arrest warrants 2024)
•       Omar Al-Bashir of Sudan (Darfur genocide)
•       Muammar Gaddafi of Libya
•       Iranian mullahs who repress their people
•       All war criminals, present and future
➡️ By weakening the ICC, Trump protects ALL the world's executioners, regardless of their nationality or side.

The Revealing Hypocrisy: The Afghanistan Case
July 2025: The UN General Assembly adopts a resolution on Afghanistan condemning the "severe, escalating, widespread, and systematic oppression" of Afghan women and girls by the Taliban.
Vote result: 116 countries IN FAVOR, 2 countries AGAINST including the United States.
➡️ Trump claims today to defend Iranian protesters, but votes against a resolution defending Afghan women!
The truth: he doesn't care about either. He only defends his geopolitical and economic interests, instrumentalizing human rights when it suits him, trampling them when it bothers him.
This Is the UNDERLYING Fight That Conditions ALL Others

So no, this petition is not "competing" with the fight for the rights of Iranians, Palestinians, Sudanese, Yemeni, Afghans, Uyghur, Rohingya, or Ukrainians. It is the UNDERLYING fight that conditions ALL the others.

If international law collapses, the message sent to the entire world is simple: "Only force matters. Do whatever you want."

We need to stop the Amalgams That Divide Us
Criticism of Trump ≠ Antisemitism
Criticism of Epstein ≠ Antisemitism
We criticize individuals (Trump, Epstein, Putin, Netanyahu, Mohammed Deif, Khamenei, Xi Jinping...), not peoples united by a religion or origin.
It is precisely the strategy of Trump's far-right and all authoritarians: use these amalgams to divide us and rule.
They want us to think:
•       "If you criticize Trump, you're anti-American"
•       "If you criticize a leader's policy, you're against an entire people"
•       "If you defend Palestinians, you're antisemitic"
•       "If you defend the rule of law, you're naive"
It's FALSE. And it's dangerous.

⚠️ The Trap of the False Choice: "USA or the Mullahs"
"You must choose your camp: Trump or the Iranian mullahs!"
FALSE. This is the lie all dictators want you to believe.

The truth in 3 points:

1. It's not "USA vs Iran"—it's "International Law vs Chaos":
By destroying the ICC, Trump PROTECTS the mullahs as much as himself.

2. Europe is not a child who must "choose dad or mom":
We are 450 million citizens, the 2nd world economy (€18,000 billion GDP). We invented democracy and the rule of law.
➡️ We can condemn Trump AND the mullahs. Netanyahu AND Hamas. Putin AND American imperialism.

3. Who has an interest in making you believe there are only two camps?:
Dictators. All of them. Because they want to eliminate the option of independence.
Trump wants you to think: "Without me, you're lost against the bad guys"
The mullahs want you to think: "Without us resisting the West, you're traitors"
Putin wants you to think: "Choose between NATO and me"
It's the same strategy: eliminate the option of independence.
This petition chooses the third way: European sovereignty.
This Petition Is Trans-Partisan: Freedom vs Submission

The Real Stakes
We must understand at this historic moment that TRUMP is an international danger and a danger for EUROPE. His policies. His authoritarian regime.

Who can sign this petition?
•       All those who refuse that Europe becomes an American colony
The real question is not left vs right. It's freedom vs submission.
Trump is not "just a controversial president." He is an immediate danger to Europe.
Trump's Three-Front Threat: Europe, Global Stability, and American Democracy

TRUMP PRESENTS HIMSELF AS A SAVIOR
He claims to "protect" Greenland from Russia, "liberate" the Iranian people, "secure" American borders, and "bring peace" to the Middle East.

BUT THE REALITY IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
1️⃣ Threat to Europe: Economic Blackmail, Military Withdrawal, Justice Interference

ECONOMIC THREATS
•       10% tariffs announced on all European products (Feb 1, 2026) - withdrawn after Davos resistance
•       200% threat on French wine (threatened, not applied)
•       Public humiliation: published private messages from Macron, Rutte, Norwegian PM (Jan 20)
•       Insulted NATO allies on Afghanistan (Jan 24): claimed they "stayed back" while 457 British, 89 French, 43 Polish soldiers died

MILITARY THREATS
•       Greenland annexation threat (Danish territory, NATO ally!) - backed down Jan 22 after European pressure
•       BUT: Pentagon announces withdrawal of 200 personnel from NATO structures (Jan 21)
•       Permanent NATO withdrawal threats = blackmail on our collective security

JUSTICE INTERFERENCE
•       Sanctioned French ICC judge Nicolas Guillou (August 2025): cut off from Google, Amazon, PayPal, banking
•       Threatened to sanction French judges who convicted Marine Le Pen
•       US Ambassador demanded to visit Sarkozy in prison
•       Attempts to replace UN with "Peace Council" controlled by him and Putin

2️⃣ Global Destabilization: Destroying International Law
•       Venezuela military intervention (Jan 2026) without UN mandate
•       "Peace Council" – including Trump - attempt to sideline UN (rejected by Europe)
•       ICC attacks undermine global justice for Putin, Netanyahu, Al-Bashir
•       Message to dictators: "International law is dead, do what you want"
•       Threat regarding Greenland and Canada

3️⃣ Domestic authoritarism: American Democracy in Danger

EXECUTIONS AND STATE TERROR
•       Renée Good executed by ICE (Jan 7, 2026) - American citizen shot in Minneapolis
•       328,000 arrests in one year
•       170+ American citizens illegally detained
•       ICE budget tripled to $75 billion

PRESS ATTACKS
•       FBI raided Washington Post journalist Hannah Natanson's home (Jan 14, 2026)
•       Journalist Mario Guevara expelled
•       Systematic intimidation of critical media

JUDICIAL INTIMIDATION
•       Death threats against Senator Elissa Slotkin for reminding military of constitutional oath
•       Mass pardons for Jan 6 Capitol rioters
•       FBI labels Antifa "terrorist organization" to criminalize anti-fascist protests

EPSTEIN COVER-UP
•       Trump appears repeatedly in Epstein network documents (trafficking, rape of minors)
•       Instead of investigating, his administration hunts whistleblowers to bury scandal

Why This Is Not Partisan Politics
What protects us all:
•       Independent judges who can hold even presidents accountable
•       Free press that can expose corruption
•       International law that prevents the strong from crushing the weak
•       Democratic institutions that outlast any one leader
Trump is dismantling these protections in America. And now he's attacking them in Europe.

Addressing Objections: Why This Matters Beyond Partisanship

"But isn't this just about immigration?"
NO. This is about Trump:
•       Sanctioning European judges
•       Threatening European territory (Greenland)
•       Trying to replace the UN with his "Peace Council"
•       Attacking our press freedom
•       Using tariffs to blackmail us
Immigration is a legitimate policy debate. This petition is about European sovereignty and the rule of law.

"But Trump is democratically elected!"
So was Viktor Orbán in Hungary. So was Recep Erdoğan in Turkey.
Being democratically elected doesn't give anyone the right to:
•       Execute citizens without trial
•       Imprison journalists
•       Sanction foreign judges
•       Violate international law
Democracy means elections + rule of law. Not just elections.

"But other countries also violate human rights!"
YES. And we should hold them all accountable.
But Trump is different because:
•       The USA is supposed to be our ally and democratic partner
•       He directly threatens European security (NATO withdrawal, Greenland)
•       He sanctions OUR judges
•       He blackmails us economically
•       He is at the head of the first powerful country in the World
We can oppose both Russian aggression AND American threats. These are not mutually exclusive.

"Won't sanctions hurt us more than them?"
Short-term: Some economic pain, yes.
Long-term: If we don't invest in sovereignty now, we become completely dependent on an unpredictable America.
History's lesson: Appeasing authoritarians costs MORE than resisting them.

"This sounds like war rhetoric!"
No. This is PREVENTION.
We're asking for:
•       Economic preparation (not war)
•       Diplomatic strength (not war)
•       Strategic autonomy (not war)
The goal is to AVOID conflict by being strong enough that Trump won't dare attack us.

The Consequences of Inaction: What We Risk If We Do Nothing
In 1 year:
•       Trump may annex Greenland
•       European judges afraid of American sanctions
•       Press censorship spreads to Europe
•       Ukraine falls
In 5 years:
•       Europe dependent on America for defense
•       Unable to resist economic blackmail
•       International law dead
•       China and Russia emboldened
In 20 years:
•       Our children ask: "Why didn't you stop this?"
•       We have no good answer

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Won't this make Trump angrier?
A: Appeasing bullies doesn't work. It encourages them. Strength deters them.
Q: What if Trump retaliates?
A: That's why we need sovereignty investments—so we can withstand retaliation.
Q: Isn't €200 billion/year too expensive?
A: It's 1.3% of EU GDP. We spend more on fossil fuel subsidies. It's about priorities.
Q: Can Europe really do this alone?
A: Europe's combined economy is larger than China's. We have the resources. We need the will.
Q: What about our American friends?
A: This petition supports American dissidents fleeing Trump. We're standing WITH good Americans AGAINST authoritarianism.
Q: Is this realistic?
A: More realistic than hoping Trump won't attack us again. Europe showed this week it can stand firm. Now we must prepare for next time.

Final Words: The Choice Before Us
In 1938, Europe chose comfort over courage.
In 1939, war began.
In 2026, we face a similar choice.
Not identical—but similar.
The price of sovereignty is investment, preparation, courage.
The price of submission is everything.
Choose sovereignty.

🎯 FUTURE GENERATIONS WILL JUDGE US
In 20 years, when they ask us: "Where were you in January 2026 when Europe had to choose between sovereignty and submission?"

What will we answer our children?
"Sorry, I was afraid for my exports"
Or:
"I stood with Europe. I refused silence. I fought for our sovereignty and our values to survive."

A Vision of European Strength: What Success Looks Like

Act.
While there's still time.
