Problem: In arid regions, water evaporates quickly, leaving plants without enough moisture.
Solution: Our system stores rainwater inside a bucket/planter and, through a special filter, slowly releases it back to the plant. This keeps crops alive longer with less water.
Benefit: Higher yields, reduced water loss, and sustainable farming.
The Problem:
The world is facing a serious water crisis. In arid regions, farming is becoming increasingly difficult. Most of the rainwater either evaporates quickly or seeps deep into the soil, leaving plants without sufficient moisture. As a result, crops dry out faster, and agricultural yields decrease.
Our Solution:
We have designed an innovative water-retaining planter system that helps plants survive longer in drought-prone areas.
Filter system: A very fine filter is placed in the middle of the planter. Rainwater passes through this filter and is stored in the lower section.
Moisture support: Plant roots cannot pass through the filter, but they can constantly access moisture through evaporation from below.
Side channels: Just above the filter, two large channels on the sides allow roots to spread outward and access a wider area.
Adjustable height: The distance between the filter and the base of the planter can be adjusted depending on the region and climate conditions.
