We are still waiting for a response from Etsy regarding our latest email. They are refusing to accept the evidence from The Seahorse Trust (experts) preferring to try and get info from IFAW - who, although doing good work, are not experts when it comes to seahorses! It seems that, to Etsy, small means you are insignificant and not worthy to request change. They even referred to us as "laypeople" and that they couldn't act on products for slae reported by "laypeople". How insulting. The Seahorse Trust have responded with their credentials but Etsy have not acknowledged this. Let's try and get to 20,000 signatures asap! Please keep sharing absolutely everywhere you can think of. Big corporations should not be allowed to contribute to the demise of an endangered and protected species, they should be setting a moral example. If you haven't already written to Etsy to say you are boycotting them, or to express your disgust with them, please email them at integrity@etsy.com.
