Dear all, Firstly, a huge thank you for signing the petition to try and stop endangered seahorses being bought and sold on Etsy. We sadly have to say that Etsy have ignored the petition and our emails. We even asked that our e-mails be passed to the CEO of Etsy for their reply, but disappointingly, they have ignored us. We wanted to work with them to stop this horrendous trade, but it appears they have put economics over the protection of an endangered and legally protected species and are doing the minimum they can. This is not good enough when this gorgeous creature could be extinct in our life-time! Our next course of action is to ask you and everyone who took part in this petition, to stop buying and selling on Etsy with immediate effect until they see sense and stop allowing the buying and selling of seahorses. Please encourage others to do the same until Etsy stop this illegal trade. And keep sharing the petition. You could also e-mail them directly and tell them how you feel and why and that you will be boycotting them.
