In 2021 Etsy restricted the ability to register new shops in Ukraine. We were stripped off this ability and only lucky few had their shops established.
Currently, since the beginning of war a lot of craftsmen and artists lost their jobs, and they are unable to work in Ukraine for Ukrainians. Because art is quite non essential in the survival mode. But Ukrainians are able and willing to work for all the people in the world to bring them beauty and charm of Ukrainian art, craft and vintage.
If Etsy could kindly turn on and bring back the ability to register new shops in Ukraine, a lot of Ukrainians will be able not only to survive out of their art but also will be able to help others with their earnings. By letting Ukrainians register new shops, Etsy would not only give support to those who create, but also to those who depend on these people, their kids and families. 
There is a huge community of artists in Ukraine, who were previously not interested in exporting their art, as selling in their home country was sufficient, but times changed, and currently they struggle to make their ends meet. Etsy, you can change it, change their life just with one decision right now. Decision, which will be beneficial to you as well. So please, bring back this opportunity. Let Ukrainians register their shops in Ukraine.
