Updates on Newport Rd Cell Service

Good afternoon everyone,

Thanks for your support so far!  We have 65 digital signatures and I have 10 more from folks without an email address.  I am still pursuing options with different providers and political routes - one of my neighbors had a Verizon tower engineer come out and scout land as a possible site for locating a tower, and was informed that "Verizon was not interested in placing a tower in this area at this time."  A bit discouraging, but still not the end of the road.  I'm waiting to hear from the Roanoke Board of Supervisors, and will also directly contact Craig Botetourt and US Cellular to see what avenues are available there.  Keep spreading the word on this petition, and circulate it widely.
