Nous devons multiplier le nombre de signataires
Un projet de politique nationale de justice transitionnelle en République démocratique du Congo (RDC) a été dévoilé, mercredi 11 janvier 2023, au cours d’un atelier tenu à Kinshasa, par l'équipe de travail mixte, chargée de la préparation de ce document. Celui-ci devra servir de boussole pour guider la mise en place des mécanismes de justice transitionnelle, et ce, après la conduite des consultations populaires, qui sont en cours.
Pour encourager ce processus, qui prendra encore du temps, il est important de réaliser le travail d'enquête sur le massacre de Kishishe, un premier cas-phare, le plus tôt possible, raison pour laquelle nous lançons cet appel urgent pour installer une commission d'enquête indépendante. Notre objectif est d'atteindre au moins 10.000 signatures. Nous avons besoin de votre appui pour y parvenir: si chacun de vous, les 500 premiers signataires, apporte en moyenne 19 nouveaux signataires, le pari est gagné. Et cela donnera une legitimité convaincante à notre appel, pour entrer dans la deuxième phase du lobbying.

A draft national policy on transitional justice in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was unveiled on Wednesday 11 January 2023 during a workshop held in Kinshasa by the joint working team in charge of preparing this document. The document is intended to serve as a compass to guide the establishment of transitional justice mechanisms after the conduct of popular consultations, which are underway.
To encourage this process, which will still take time, it is important to carry out the investigation of the Kishishe massacre, a first landmark case, as soon as possible, which is why we are launching this urgent appeal to set up an independent commission of enquiry. Our goal is to reach at least 10,000 signatures. We need your support to achieve this: if each of you, the first 500 signatories, brings in an average of 19 new signatories, the bet is won. And this will give our appeal a convincing legitimacy, to enter the second phase of lobbying.

Op woensdag 11 januari 2023 is tijdens een workshop in Kinshasa een ontwerp van nationaal beleid inzake transitionele rechtspraak in de Democratische Republiek Congo (DRC) onthuld door het gezamenlijke werkteam dat belast is met de opstelling van dit document, dat is bedoeld als leidraad voor de instelling van mechanismen voor overgangsjustitie na de lopende volksraadplegingen.
Om dit proces, dat nog tijd zal vergen, aan te moedigen is het belangrijk dat het onderzoek naar het bloedbad van Kishishe, een symbooldossier, zo snel mogelijk wordt uitgevoerd en daarom doen wij deze dringende oproep om hiervoor een onafhankelijke onderzoekscommissie in te stellen. Ons doel is om minstens 10.000 handtekeningen te halen. We hebben uw steun nodig om dit te bereiken: als ieder van u, de eerste 500 ondertekenaars, gemiddeld 19 nieuwe ondertekenaars aanbrengt, is de weddenschap begonnen.
