I am an advocate for retail jobs and a stronger economy. My passion for this cause has led me to the doors of FAO Schwarz in New York City's Rockefeller Center numerous times. Each visit reaffirms my belief that this iconic store, the oldest toy store in the United States, could be successfully duplicated elsewhere - specifically on State Street in downtown Chicago.

Its unique products, many of which are exclusive to them, have brought joy to millions over its 150-year history. By opening a flagship store in Chicago, we can bring that same joy to the city while also boosting the local economy.

The addition of an FAO Schwarz would not only create more jobs but also attract tourists and locals alike with its unique shopping experience.
