Alternate route already in place !

So many people have the same thoughts about the ferry & how there needs to be a back up option. There is already a road in place , it is a logging road that takes you along side the other side of the lake . It is about 80 km to arrow park ferry crossing , can also come out at needles crossing. This road is used by loggers , mushroom pickers , heliskiing , mountain biking , camping , etc . This could be a great solution for a secondary option to the ferry . If the road was kept up , similar to the road between trout lake & kaslo .

 

Just a thought , but seems like a “simple” solution .
